Lip augmentation is created using an FDA approved hylaronic acid based filler. There are numerous brands of filler on the market. Your nurse injector will assess your lips at your appointment to help you determine which filler is best for your aesthetic goals.

A good lip filler defines, smooths and volumizes the lips while maintaining a natural look. Depending on its indication, a lip filler may also be used to fill in vertical lip lines or help the lips appear more symmetrical.

The best lip fillers achieve the patient’s aesthetic goals without over-plumping the lips, and can be easily reversed if results are unsatisfactory. Lip fillers should continue to appear evenly distributed and shouldn’t cause lumps, bumps or uneven areas across the lips. While all of the following fillers are suitable  for your lips, your nurse injector will assess your lips at your appointment to help you decide which filler is best for your aesthetic goals.
